Diagnosis and treatment services for animal health continue within the scope of the project titled "Investigation of Diseases in Farm Animals Raised in Erzurum Rural", which is supported by the Scientific Research Projects Coordinatorship of Atatürk University Rectorate (TAD-2022-10668) and aims to contribute to society.

As part of the Outstanding Achievement Awards given by the Higher Education Council, the works that were deemed worthy of the 2020 Local Development Contribution Award with the project "Providing Mobile Animal Health Polyclinic and Educational Services in the Rural" have been continuing since 2019 with the cooperation of Atatürk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and related institutions.

Within the scope of the project, a total of 124 animals were examined, diagnosed and treated by the academics working in the Department of Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Diseases, Reproductive and Artificial Insemination and Animal Nutrition and Nutrition Diseases of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who visited the Üzengili District of Erzurum Karayazı district. Training was given to producers about breeding and animal nutrition. He also gained the opportunity to practice by participating in field studies in a group of 10 senior students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The animal breeders, who expressed their satisfaction with the Rural Mobile Clinic Services for animal health, thanked the administrators of Atatürk University and asked for such studies to continue.

Thanking Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı for the financial support given by Atatürk University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit (BAP), and for the studies implemented in 2022, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Yavuz Selim Sağlam stated that such social contribution activities for animal breeders will continue.
