WELCOME YA ŞEHR-I RAMADAN
“This year, we have met the sultan of 11 months, Ramazan, with a bittersweet vice verse. Ramazan, a holly month of of abundance, goodness, sharing, understanding and tolerance, which is longed for the entire Islamic world always has an enthusiastic meaning in the entire Islamic world in minarets, mosques, iftar and sahur tables, tarawih and hathahs. However, the meaning of sharing, catering, reading the Quran together, iftar and sahur tables are not as usual today.
Besides being an extraordinary period for the world, the same is true for Muslims. However, this situation taught us to appreciate what we have, to appreciate, not to waste most, to share what is not with us, to live simpler and to realize spiritual values, to be more introspective but to be able to look again and more clearly with a higher awareness.
Thank God, our country has brought this awareness to a global representation through its activities. Turkey as the leading country, reached out its helping hand to countries regardless of language and religious differences in this troubled period with the spirit of Ramadan
By combining all these with holy Ramadan, I see it as an achievement for both ourselves and the world and wish a peaceful, fertile, healthy and beneficial Ramadan to the whole Islamic world. ”
