THE EDUCATION BRIDGE BETWEEN TWO UNIVERSITIES
Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh, the Founder President of Jordan Applied Sciences University and Modern Medicine University, paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the President of Atatürk University.
Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh, the Founder President of Jordan Applied Sciences University which has recently hosted the President Çomaklı paid a return visit.
Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the President of Atatürk University expressed his gratitude and stated that it was a pleasure to host Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh.
The President Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı emphasized that these kinds of visits are important to encourage academic studies and reinforce the relations and added following statements : " Hosting Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh who made ourselves at home at Atatürk University is highly significant in terms of the relationships between both universities and countries. The negotiations that form the basis of decisions made during our visits make the bond between two universities stronger. In this regard, we agreed on that a common curriculum be necessary between Atatürk University and Applied Sciences University. In addition, the specialization of research assistants shall be provided in our university. The students who have already finished the first three years of Medicine education shall have the chance of finishing the rest of their education at our university".
The President Çomaklı articulated that internationalization of Atatürk University gains momentum through this and such cooperations and they shall make bilateral agreements with various universities. He also expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh, the Founder President of Jordan Applied Sciences University and Modern Medicine University because of his visits.
Prof. Dr. Mahfuz Judeh extented his appreciation for being in an archaic city like Erzurum, a craddle of civilization and reminded that Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the President of Atatürk University recently visited Jordan. Prof. Dr. Judeh who expressed that Erzurum and Ataturk University are as beautiful as the President Çomaklı depicted expressed his wish to have mutual benefits from protocols signed in the field of health. Stating that they want to make use of 61 year- experience of Atatürk University, Judeh pointed out the university hospital and medical school of Atatürk University which has one of the oldest medical schools are highly important for both Turkey and neigboring countries.
The President Mahfuz Judeh extended his thanks to Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the President of Atatürk University for his hospitality and wished that this education bridge between these two countries would be beneficial for all.
