MONITORING AND EVALUATION MEETING ORGANISED FOR FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES AND FACULTY OF THEOLOGY
Within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, 2023 Academic Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings held with the participation of unit managers and academicians continue under the chairmanship of Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.
In the meetings, Rector Çomaklı and the management team met with the academics of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in the morning and the Faculty of Theology in the afternoon at the Cultural Centre Blue Hall, while the deans of the faculties and the directors of the colleges made presentations about the work carried out in their units.
Research University performance indicators, cultural transformation studies, evaluation of academic performance results and TUBITAK competence analysis were held under 4 headings, while developments and obstacles are also monitored in the presentations.
Rector Çomaklı stated that the progress towards the road map determined by coming together with the administrators will be observed, and that the successful places and the aspects that need to be developed will be determined in line with the data, and that the feedbacks of the studies carried out in faculties and vocational schools are also received.
Stating that Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings have important contributions to the branding of Atatürk University, Rector Çomaklı said: "As a university, we carry out our studies with the aim of becoming a research-oriented university that produces qualified scientific knowledge at a universal level, conducts R&D activities, produces technology, converts it into patents and presents the science it produces for the benefit of society. With the new projects developed and the studies carried out, we aim to move up from the rankings we are in every field. The work carried out by our academicians contributes positively both to the development of the sense of belonging and to the increase in the quality of the studies."
