Kadir Yırtar, 1st Class Chief of Police, who was appointed as Erzurum Provincial Police Director from Karabük Provincial Police Directorate with the Decree of Police Chiefs, paid a return visit to Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

Welcoming his guest Kadir Yırtar in the Rectorate office, Prof. Dr. Çomaklı expressed his satisfaction with the visit and emphasised the importance of cooperation between institutions.

Stating that both institutions have always been united under a common denominator from past to present, Rector Çomaklı emphasised that they are working together with the Provincial Police Department to ensure campus security in the new academic year.

Stating that he is pleased to be appointed to Erzurum, the summit of Eastern Anatolia, and to serve this ancient city, Provincial Director Yırtar stated that he continues his visits with the idea of how we can act in cooperation with which institution in the city.

Kadir Yırtar thanked Rector Çomaklı for his hospitality and said that he would serve the people of Erzurum properly.

At the end of the visit, Rector Çomaklı informed his guest Kadir Yırtar about the Eastern Anatolia Observatory (DAG), one of the vision projects of the Republic of Turkey.
