SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS REWARDED IN THE FIRST MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu presented the awards to the students who appeared victorious in the Mathematics Olympiads organised by the university for the first time this year.
The Cultural Centre Prof. Dr. Kemal Bıyıkoğlu Hall was the site of the award ceremony, which was particularly well-attended by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, as well as school administrators, instructors, students, and parents.
During the opening speech of the program, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the significance of Atatürk University's commitment to projects that will enhance the academic development of young people. He stated, "I am extremely pleased to be present at the award ceremony of the competition we conducted as part of the Mathematics Olympiads organised by Atatürk University." Mathematics is not only a scientific discipline, but also a mental voyage. The greatest advancements in human history have been rooted in this universal language, which teaches the processes of reasoning, analysing, and producing solutions. The Mathematics Olympiads Awareness Training that we conducted on May 12-13 was the initial phase in this process. We have reached a significant milestone today, as this procedure is culminating in the receipt of awards. Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that this competition is not the conclusion, but rather the initial step towards the prosperous future of our youthful minds. "Each of Our Students is a Soldier of Science for Us, a Winner"
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu extended his congratulations to all the students who participated in the competition with the utmost enthusiasm, stating, "Each of you has become a source of hope in our country's scientific journey with your problem-solving ability, analytical thinking power, and the determination you have demonstrated." Each of our students who courageously entered this platform is a victor, a soldier of science for us. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of our academicians, colleagues, and instructors who have assisted in the development of this organisation. Additionally, I would like to acknowledge the families of our pupils, who have been the most steadfast supporters. Additionally, I would like to extend my appreciation to all the institutions and organisations that provided support for this event.
Following Rector Hacımüftüoğlu's address, the award ceremony commenced. The program concluded with Rector Hacımüftüoğlu presenting awards to the students who attained success and the instructors who guided them.
