IMPORTANT VISIT FROM İSPIR COMMITTEE TO ATATURK UNIVERSITY TOWARDS DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT
Carrying out its studies without interruption for the development of Erzurum and for providing added value to its country, Atatürk University continues its negotiations in order to provide university-society cooperation in line with the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project.
The managers and representatives of İspir, one of the remarkable districts of Erzurum with its natural and cultural beauties, visited the rector of Atatürk University Prof. Ömer Çomaklı to exchange ideas for future studies and collaborations.
Rector Çomaklı's guests, including İspir Mayor Ahmet Coşkun, AK Party District President Fatih Efeoğlu, CHP District President Şahin Aydın, İYİ Party District President Baki Dursun, İspir Mayor Advisor Hasan İşler and İspir Hamza Polat Vocational School Director Prof. Mutlu Kundakçı and School Secretary Osman Engin have asked for Ataturk University's support for the projects and studies to be carried out in the İspir district.
Stating that İspir needs to be improved in areas such as education, tourism, agriculture and animal husbandry, Rector Çomaklı said that Atatürk University will increase its support for the districts in these fields, especially in the field of education.
Emphasizing that the academicians in the Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary, especially in the fields of agriculture and animal husbandry, are in cooperation with the regional breeders, Prof. Çomaklı underlined that Atatürk University always stands with the society with all its units and is ready to help in other fields if requested.
