VISITS THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE CULTURE OF CONSULTATION CONTINUE

AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.

A new visit has been added to the ongoing search for common wisdom to strengthen university-society meetings. Expressing his satisfaction with the visit to the rector's office in this context, Rector Çomaklı said that the university is growing rapidly in many areas, and one of the main factors of this is the studies on city-university integration.

Rector Çomaklı: “Our success is a reflection of the good relations we have established with the city”

During the visit, Çomaklı gave information about the current situation of the campus, emphasizing that educational activities are progressing smoothly. Stating that the university is not only an institution that produces academic knowledge, but also that they strive to contribute to the city in which it is located, together with all the other dynamics of the city, Çomaklı said: “We find every work done in collaboration important. Today, the rapid growth of our university is a reflection of the good relations we have established with the city within the scope of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project. By mobilizing all the resources of our university for our people, we ensured that knowledge turned into value. In this way, our university successfully fulfills its mission of contributing to society as well as its academic activities."  Çomaklı also shared information with his guest about the studies carried out for the new period and the studies planned to be implemented. The plans have been made for every field, especially academic, social and cultural activities, and that we, as a university, are ready for the new term with all their components.

AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu stated that Atatürk University, which sheds light on the future by reflecting the experience it has gained from the past to the present, educates qualified human resources to serve our country with its hundreds of thousands of graduates and turns them into cultural ambassadors, is an important value of the city and that its contributions to social life, the academic community and local developments are tangible. He added that the existence of such a valuable institution, which is the memory of Erzurum and preserves its cultural and historical heritage and transfers it to future generations, is very important for everyone, and conveyed his wishes of success to each individual of Atatürk University, which is preparing for the new era.
