Atatürk University Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education's 4 more programs were accredited by the Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (EPDAD). Classroom Teaching and English Language Teaching departments have been accredited until 2025, and Psychological Counseling and Guidance Teaching and Physical Education and Sports Teaching departments until 2024, with their quality registered.

Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Ufuk Şimşek stated that they succeeded in being accredited as a faculty as a result of the success of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project initiated by Atatürk University. “The New Generation University Design and Transformation Project will make Atatürk University reach its target. Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education has planned the accreditation processes with all its departments in this direction and is taking firm steps towards becoming Turkey's leading education faculty. Congratulations to our four accredited departments, and I would like to take the occasion to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı.” he added.

Expressing that accreditation of faculties and departments adds value to the university, Çomaklı said that accreditation practices will be effective in ensuring the continuity of education, research and social contribution.

Expressing his satisfaction with the accreditation of departments at Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education, Rector Çomaklı stated that many faculties, units and programs at Atatürk University have been accredited by official institutions and that efforts will continue with determination to increase this number.

Thanking everyone who contributed to the positive outcome of this process, Çomaklı noted that many departments that applied for university-wide accreditation are in the queue and added that he believes they will be accredited in the near future.
