ACADEMIC COLLABORATION MEETING BETWEEN TWO ESTABLISHED UNIVERSITIES...
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, visited Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, the Rector of Ankara University, to fortify collaboration between the two institutions.
The issues of enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two deeply rooted educational institutions, as well as collaborating on a variety of academic projects, were addressed during the visit, which was conducted in a cordial manner. The meeting also addressed the potential for joining forces in the national and international arena, as well as the sustainability of joint initiatives in the fields of education and research.
In his address, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, underscored the significance of universities in the generation of knowledge and the provision of services to society. He stated, "Education and scientific research are the shared values of our institutions." We are eager to collaborate with a deeply ingrained institution such as Ankara University.
Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, the Rector of Ankara University, expressed his satisfaction with the visit. He mentioned that he was a former member of Atatürk University and stated, "The knowledge and experiences I acquired during my time at Atatürk University hold an important place in my academic career today." He stated, "I am of the opinion that the academic community and our country will both benefit from the collaboration between the two universities."
It was emphasized at the conclusion of the visit that the subjects discussed will enhance the collaboration between the two universities and result in the development of new initiatives.
During their second visit to Ankara University, Rector Hacımüftüoğlu and his delegation visited the Integrated Research Center (BÜTAM). Vice Rector and Dean of Research Prof. Dr. Kaan Orhan accompanied them and provided them with information about the center.
