A CONGRESS ON COSMETICS IS ORGANIZED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY.
The 14th Cosmetics Congress, an annual event that has commenced in 2011 and has emerged as a significant gathering in the industry, will be conducted from 15-18 February 2024 at the Antalya Susesi Luxury Resort, with the presence of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, in collaboration with Atatürk University and the Chemists Association.
This congress is regarded as an event of exceptional brand value and distinction among scientific conferences due to its convening of the cosmetics industry and the academic community to deliberate on the most recent advancements and innovations in the field. The congress, which is situated at the crossroads of numerous fields including chemistry, health, life sciences, technology, and cosmetics science, attracts academics, industry representatives, and public authorities from diverse sectors.
"I am confident that the Congress will advance the sector even further," said Rector Çomaklı.
In his introductory remarks at the congress, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı expressed gratitude to all individuals who made contributions towards the establishment of this significant institution, with particular emphasis on the congress president, Prof. Dr. Serdar Burmaoğlu, He also expressed gratitude to the organizing committee, all public institutions, sponsors, and participants for their steadfast support, with particular emphasis on the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
Professor Dr. Rector Çomaklı underscored the preeminent status of Atatürk University as an educational establishment, citing its illustrious 65-year history, scientific research accomplishments, and contributions to the field of higher education. According to him, the Research University vision expanded upon the innovative process initiated with the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project. Additionally, the university's strategic plans underwent a reconfiguration to align with stakeholder expectations and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Çomaklı said Atatürk University's research in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—including but not limited to promoting healthy individuals, ensuring access to clean energy, and cultivating partnerships with the cosmetics industry—will propel the industry forward. He expressed his hope for the accomplishment of the congress.
In excess of 600 individuals attend the event.
An extensive scientific program will be presented at the three-day event, which is being organized by the Chemists Association and Atatürk University and will attract over 600 attendees. The program will feature a combination of invited speeches, brief oral and poster presentations, courses, seminars, and sessions that aim to foster collaboration between the sectors and public authorities.
