KUDAKAF 2025 ESTABLISHES A FUTURE ROADMAP: ATATÜRK UNIVERSITY'S YOUNG PEOPLE DIRECT THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Atatürk University hosted the Northeastern Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF’25), which was arranged in collaboration with eight regional universities. The event commenced at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Center and was met with enthusiastic attendance.

 The Fair Introduction Program and Plaque Presentation Ceremony was attended by; Erzurum Deputies Mehmet Emin Öz and Abdurrahim Fırat, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen, 9th Corps and Garrison Commander Major General Tuncer Altuğ, Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor Adem Alemdar, Regional Justice Administrative Court Chief Public Prosecutor Ünal Bingül, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Rector Prof. Dr. İlhami Gülçin, Bayburt University Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent, Ardahan University Rector Prof. Dr. Öztürk Emiroğlu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Assoc. Engin Avcı, Bar Association President Mesut Öner, Provincial Police Chief Kadir Yırtar and AK Party Erzurum Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu, district governors, mayors, private sector, NGO and public institution representatives as well as many students and guests attended the event.


 Rector Hacımüftüoğlu Points Out the Significance of KUDAKAF for the Youth

 The Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mehter Team performed following a moment of silence and the National Anthem, which commenced the program. Then, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, delivered the welcoming speech. In his speech, Hacımüftüoğlu conveyed messages of unity and solidarity and underscored the significance of KUDAKAF for the youth.

 Rector Hacımüftüoğlu welcomed the audience with the following words: "I am delighted to be here at the Northeastern Anatolia Career Fair, and I extend my warmest regards to all." He explained that the universities in the region make a concerted effort to equip young people with the necessary skills in all aspects of life, in addition to academics.

 According to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, this exceptional organization, which was established with the support of eight other universities in the region and coordinated by Atatürk University, will facilitate the professional development of students by connecting them with influential representatives from the public and private sectors. He stated, "This meeting is about much more than just offering internships and employment opportunities." It enables our youth to identify their own identities, pursue their aspirations, and actively participate in the advancement of our nation.

 "This fair will activate their potential and lay solid mortar on the foundation of our local and national development initiatives," Hacımüftüoğlu stated, emphasizing that the cornerstones of the vision of the Turkish Century are knowledgeable, productive, and idealistic young people. This unity is the most powerful indicator of our confidence in the future of our nation. The excitement of our meeting today in this ancient city, which will be the ECO Tourism Capital and the European Winter Sports Capital in 2025, will be further heightened by the presence of our Vice President, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, and our Ministers tomorrow. He also extended an invitation to all guests to attend the official opening ceremony on Friday, April 26, at 15:30.

 The first day of the fair provided students with the chance to engage in one-on-one meetings with human resources officials from the participating companies to discuss job and internship opportunities, as well as to receive direct information about their sectors. In recognition of the event, plaques were presented to the sponsoring companies.
