50 THOUSAND PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN KUDAKAF23, ONE OF TURKEY'S LARGEST CAREER FAIRS

Northeast Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'23), hosted by Atatürk University, was completed with the participation of approximately 50 thousand students and graduates. There was intense interest in KUDAKAF, which brought young people together with industry representatives for two days.

Atatürk University, which received the "Most Satisfied Career Fair for Students" award with the career fair it organized last year, received full marks from the students with the fair it organized this year as well. The fair, which was held under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office (CBİKO), under the leadership of Atatürk University and with the contributions of partner universities, opened its doors to young people at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Center with the theme "Talent is Everywhere". For two days, institutions and organizations opened stands and had the opportunity to introduce themselves, receive job and internship applications and conduct interviews, while students and graduates received first-hand information about job and internship opportunities and career opportunities from the human resources officials of the companies. Young people also participated in various personal and professional development events, panels, interview simulations and interviews with companies' human resources representatives.

Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çitfçi Visited the Stands

Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, who visited the fair area on behalf of Erzurum Governorship, one of the main stakeholders of the Northeast Anatolia Career Fair, and held one-on-one meetings with all stand officials, also chatted with the students. Emphasizing the importance of the fair and noting that KUDAKAF is a very valuable event for students, Çiftçi stated that contacting institutions and organizations that will support them in their career journey will provide them with a significant advantage in this journey. Governor Çiftçi, who visited the companies sponsoring the fair one by one, wished that the event, which caused significant activity in Atatürk University and regional universities, would be beneficial.

Rector Çomaklı: “KUDAKAF Leads the Discovery of Talents”

Stating that the Northeast Anatolia Career Fair, where a total of 90 events and session programs were held, 380 sector representatives and 70 sponsors took part, was very effective for students and graduates, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that partner universities and Turkey's leading companies and employers attended the fair held at Atatürk University on 18-19 December 2023, and expressed that they were happy to host many guests in Erzurum once again.

Rector Prof. stated that the regional career fairs, organized for the first time in 2019 with the theme of 'Talent is Everywhere' under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, offer great opportunities and opportunities in employment to our young people who will play an important role in the future of our country. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı: “We left behind another two-day fair. Our students and graduates met with industry representatives and had fun with various events. Our students had the opportunity to meet and meet first-hand companies that have a say in their sector and region by visiting the stands. While new job opportunities were opened for our students and graduates, participating institutions and organizations had the opportunity to discover young talents. The efficient and effective conduct of the Northeast Anatolia Career Fair, which enables the employment and development of young people and their ability to seize career opportunities, made us both happy and proud on behalf of our region and our country. We are also happy that we completed the fairs without any problems this year, like our other fairs we hosted, and received satisfactory feedback from each of our students. With these thoughts; "I would like to thank and express my gratitude to all my colleagues, stakeholders, students and sector representatives, who contributed to a smooth fair with their efforts and efforts from the first day of the event to the last day," he said.
