Atatürk University hosted the Rectors' Meeting program organized as part of the Northeast Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'23), which will take place on March 15-16, 2023.

In addition to Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the opening of the program, which took place in the Cultural Center Blue Hall; Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Rector Prof Dr Abdülhalik Karabulut, Ardahan University Rector Prof Dr Mehmet Biber, Bayburt University Rector Prof Dr Mutlu Türkmen, Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof Dr Bülent Çakmak, Caucasus University Rector Prof Dr Hüsnü Kapu, Munzur University Rector Prof Dr Ubeyde İpek Erzincan University Vice Rector Prof Dr Adem Başıbüyük and vice-rectors and career center managers attended.

Taking the podium for the opening speech of the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that KUDAKAF, which will be held with the cooperation of universities, public and private sector institutions and professional chambers with the theme of "Talent is Everywhere" under the coordination of the Presidential Human Resources Office, will play an active role in bringing students and employers together, as it has done so far.

Rector Çomaklı stated that they are very happy to be hosting the career fair for the third time this year; He stated that the event will mediate hundreds of thousands of young people to meet with employers and benefit from employment opportunities, as well as enable employers of all sizes who need qualified human resources to communicate directly with young people.

Stating that a total of 33 thousand young people participated in the fair held last year, and their target this year is 50 thousand, Çomaklı said: “The DAKAF, which we organized in 2022 with the support of our universities, Erzurum Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality and all public institutions, was very successful and made a sound throughout the country. After DAKAF 2022, which was chosen as the career fair that students were most satisfied with, we received a success award from our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Being deemed worthy of the award was a great source of pride for Atatürk University. We will successfully carry out KUDAKAF together with our stakeholders in 2023," he said.

After Rector Çomaklı, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir received the guests' comments and suggestions.

Stating that 500 companies are expected to participate in the fair this year, Sözbilir said that it is important for students to register for KUDAKAF'23 through the talent gate before the fair and they expect support from partner universities in this regard. The program, which continued with good wishes and wishes, ended with a question-answer session.

After the program, university rectors, who are stakeholders in KUDAKAF, visited Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş and Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen for their support to the career fairs held so far, and conveyed their thanks.
