Atatürk University is hosting the North East Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'25) on April 25-26, 2025, with the support of eight regional universities. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be in attendance. Preparations are proceeding at full speed. Important meetings were conducted to coordinate the fair prior to the massive event at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Centre.
In the context of KUDAKAF'25, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu convened a second evaluation meeting with the participation of public institution managers and businesspeople, following a meeting with the rectors of regional universities, relevant vice-rectors, and career centre directors. The meeting was chaired by Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi.
The Career Fairs we organise have served as a gateway to the future for young people.
At the meetings, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, the Rector of Atatürk University, emphasised that KUDAKAF'25 is not only a fair, but also a guiding platform for young people to chart their career paths. Hacımüftüoğlu: "Through the career fairs we successfully organised at our university, hundreds of our students and graduates were able to connect with employers and secure employment." We are exceeding expectations this year with KUDAKAF'25. We anticipate that the fair will attract 50,000 participants and 400 companies. We are confident that this organisation will make significant contributions to the advancement of university-industry collaboration, in addition to benefiting our students.
Hacımüftüoğlu stated that the fair, which will be attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is a historic event for the region. He also stated that this massive organisation, which has been prepared with the assistance of stakeholder universities, public institutions, and the business community, will provide a distinctive opportunity for young people.
Turkey's 2025 showcase will be Erzurum.
In his address, Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, who presided over the meeting, declared that the year 2025 holds particular significance for the city. Erzurum was designated as the European Winter Sports Capital and the Tourism Capital for 2025. We are anticipating a complete year in accordance with these titles. One of the most distinguished and remarkable events of the year will be KUDAKAF'25. The exhibition is of particular significance due to the fact that our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will also be in attendance. I am confident that Erzurum will conduct this fair in the most optimal manner conceivable, given its strategic location, youthful population, and higher education capacity.
Process of Organisation Shared
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yüksel Göktaş, who is responsible for the fair, delivered a presentation regarding the organisation process of KUDAKAF'25. According to Göktaş, the preparations are proceeding according to a predetermined schedule: "Inter-institutional coordination is of paramount importance in the lead-up to the fair." The career journeys of our students and graduates are meticulously planned, with every detail being carefully considered. This fair will serve as a platform for them to demonstrate their capabilities and connect with the professions that they aspire to.
