RECTORS OF PARTNER UNIVERSITIES GATHERED AT ATATURK UNIVERSITY FOR KUDAKAF’25
The Presidency Human Resources Office coordinated the preparatory conference for the Northeastern Anatolia Regional Career Fair (KUDAKAF’25), which is scheduled to take place on April 18-19, 2025, at Atatürk University. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was in attendance.
The meeting, which took place in the Prof. Dr. Kemal Bıyıkoğlu Hall of the Cultural Centre, was hosted by Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Rector Prof. Dr. Abdulhalik Karabulut, Ardahan University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber, Bayburt University Rector Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, Bingöl University Rector Prof. Dr. Erdal Çelik, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent and Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak, vice rectors and career centre managers attended.
400 companies and 50,000 participants are anticipated.
During the inauguration speech, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the significance of KUDAKAF’25, which will be held at the university and is designed to facilitate the interaction between students and the sector, thereby enhancing their professional development.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu stated that the career fairs organised within Atatürk University for four years under the leadership of nine stakeholder universities and with the support of public institutions and the business world have enabled hundreds of graduates and students to meet with employers and secure employment. Hacımüftüoğlu underscored that the fair will enhance university-industry collaboration and provide a significant opportunity for young individuals to strategise their careers, estimating that 50,000 participants and 400 companies will participate this year.
Assessment of Equitable Preparations
During the meeting, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yüksel Göktaş presented the roadmap for the fair's organisation process and the necessary steps. According to Göktaş, the fair functions as a critical intermediary for students and graduates to achieve their professional objectives.
Following the evaluations and recommendations of the participants regarding the fair, the program concluded. On April 18-19, 2025, KUDAKAF'25 will convene at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Fair Centre, where students and graduates will be joined by representatives from the public and private sectors, civil society organisations, professional chambers, and prominent business figures.
