The Rector of Ataturk University, Professor Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, issued a statement in observance of the religious holiday of Eid al-Adha. In his message, Rector Çomaklı employed the subsequent statements:
"I extend my warmest wishes for a joyous celebration of Eid-al-Adha. We are currently observing Eid al-Adha, a time to express gratitude for the bounties, good health, and well-being bestowed upon us by Allah. It is also an occasion to foster unity among fellow believers, as emphasized in the verse "Believers are only brothers." Additionally, it serves as a reminder of our inherent limitations and the need to seek assistance beyond our own capabilities."
He also made the folllowing remarks: "We acknowledge the profound satisfaction derived from attaining inclusion within the social circle of our less privileged brethren, recognizing that the act of sharing fosters personal development and advancement."
"We extend our well wishes for a holiday characterized by abundant delight and meaningful dialogue, wherein individuals of higher socioeconomic status provide assistance to those who are less privileged. May this occasion be imbued with optimism, tranquility, and good health, accompanied by fervent prayers. It is with great pleasure that we extend our congratulations to you on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha." he added.
