THE LOGO OF THE EUROPEAN QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK WILL BE PLACED IN THE MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL AND CIVIL ENGINEERING DIPLOMAS
For the first time in the history of Turkish higher education, the qualifications of 129 undergraduate programs in 39 Turkish universities were placed in the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) database by the Turkish Qualifications Framework Board. Turkish Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) and European Qualifications Framework (AYÇ) logos will be on the diplomas of Mechanical, Chemistry and Civil Engineering undergraduate programs from Atatürk University.
In this way, diplomas of students who have graduated from Atatürk University Mechanical, Chemistry and Civil Engineering programs will be recognized abroad faster, employment opportunities will increase, and horizontal and vertical student mobility will be facilitated.
Thanks to the logo to be placed in the diploma supplements, the achievements of higher education and upper secondary education, internship qualifications and education periods spent abroad will be automatically recognized. In addition, as required by the directive on the recognition of professional qualifications in the European Union, it will enable the cross-border movement of professionals, enabling them to practice their profession or be employed abroad, and to be recognized in Europe and outside of Europe.
Representing Atatürk University, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, Associate and Undergraduate Education Coordinator Prof. Dr. Bilal Yılmaz and Head of Student Affairs Department Metin Saygılı attended the event. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sözbilir, receiving the plate, thanked everyone, especially Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Recep Sadeler and the family of the faculty and everyone who contributed to this success.
