Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan was the guest of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu.

The comprehensive cooperation protocol signed during the visit aims to strengthen academic and scientific ties between the two institutions. The protocol aims to cooperate in many areas such as student and academician exchange, joint scientific research, conferences and seminars.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that this agreement is the beginning of a process in which the two universities will learn a lot from each other. Hacımüftüoğlu said: “Our ties with Manas University date back to the past. With the protocol we signed today, we are taking steps to further strengthen these ties. We will develop joint projects in both education and research and better prepare the youth of both countries for the future.”

Prof. Dr. Ceylan began his speech by expressing his pleasure to be at Atatürk University again.

Rector Ceylan stated that they were very pleased to deepen their cooperation with Atatürk University and said: “Atatürk University has an important place in my academic life. Today, it is a separate pride for me to sign new projects with this institution as the rector. As universities of our sister countries, we will further strengthen our common cultural and academic ties.”

The ceremony ended with the discussion of steps that will further develop the cooperation of both universities and the good news of future projects.
