MARCH SCIENTIFIC INCENTIVE CEREMONY WAS HELD

Academicians who elevate the reputation of the university through their scientific research are rewarded at Atatürk University's Scientific Incentive Ceremonies. In accordance with the guiding principle "Recognizing success and valuing effort," the university has added a new award to this series.

Those who received awards in recognition of their research-based endeavors were formally sworn in at the Cultural Center National Will Hall on July 15th.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı presented the accolades to faculty members who submitted applications in March 2024 for their research endeavors as part of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project.

Rector Çomaklı declared that the accomplishments attained at Atatürk University are consistently commended and motivated. He further stated that all staff members who demonstrate exceptional performance and make valuable contributions to the nation's progress will perpetually receive support. Recalling that they awarded certificates of accomplishment to faculty members who submitted applications for a cumulative total of 140 patents, of which 97 were domestic and 43 were foreign, during the academic year 2023, Rector Çomaklı declared last week that this figure will persistently rise in accordance with the established plan.

"Always striving for improvement, we are never content with what we succeed."

Rector Çomaklı: "Universities have acquired the capability to audit their own financial and personnel affairs in the contemporary era. To acquire this authority, universities, which are the source of knowledge, convert knowledge into value. The institution, which is actively striving to attain global university status, has received a two-year reaccreditation from the Higher Education Quality Board (YOKAK) as part of the Institutional Accreditation Program, which aims to enhance the caliber of higher education establishments and promote quality assurance. Obviously, this university's success is the collective responsibility of every member. "With our competent scientists and advanced research infrastructure, we never settle for the best and always strive to achieve better," according to him.
