Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent and Ardahan University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu in his office and wished him success in his new position. During the visit, cooperation opportunities between universities and joint projects for regional development were discussed.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the visit of the rectors of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University and Ardahan University and emphasised that Atatürk University aims to strengthen cooperation with higher education institutions in the region. In this direction, Hacımüftüoğlu stated that joint projects should be developed and information sharing should be increased and that they are open to all kinds of cooperation that will contribute to the development of the region.

Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent and Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Biber stated that as Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University and Ardahan University, they would like to further their cooperation with Atatürk University. Stating that such visits between universities create synergy in both academic and social fields, the rectors expressed that they believe that joint scientific studies and projects will make significant contributions to the development of the region.

During the meeting, projects that can be developed between universities and studies that can be carried out for regional development were emphasised. The visit, in which a consensus was reached on the establishment of joint programmes especially in the fields of health, engineering, agriculture and social sciences, ended with the hope of further strengthening the relations between universities and implementing joint projects for the region.
