Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı released a message on the occasion of the Mawlid Al-Nabi. Çomaklı made the following statements in his message:

“We are experiencing the peace and happiness of welcoming another Mawlid Al-Nabi, which we celebrate on the occasion of the birth of our Prophet, who was sent as a mercy to the Universe. Mawlid Al-Nabi s an important occasion to properly understand the Prophet Muhammad (sav) and the message he gave to all humanity. In the life of our Prophet, who is the pinnacle of servitude, there is a powerful light, a beautiful example, that will illuminate our personal and social lives. This blessed birth, which paved the way for crucial developments in the world, has been celebrated as Mawlid Al-Nabi for centuries by our beloved nation and the entire Islamic world, with a view to understanding the divine message brought by our beloved Prophet, assimilating his unique morality, and conveying the love for him from hearts to words and to new generations.

"I congratulate Mawlid Al-Nabi of the entire Islam World. I wish that the exemplary and guide life of our Prophet will become a touchstone in our lives again, and that our hearts will be enlightened again and find peace." Çomaklı said.
