Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu was visited congratulateingly by Erzurum Provincial Director of National Education Yakup Yıldız. Under a welcoming environment, collaboration and cooperative projects in the area of education were underlined in the conference. Yıldız wished Prof. Dr. Hacımüftüoğlu success in his new position and congragulated him during the visit.

Claiming that they have always been closely working with Atatürk University to advance Erzurum in the sphere of education, Yıldız said: "Atatürk University has a very significant role in the scientific and social development of Erzurum and our area. Working with our institution, the Directorate of National Education seeks to raise the quality of education by means of cooperative initiatives."

"As Atatürk University, we will continue to work in cooperation with the Directorate of National Education to contribute to Erzurum's educational vision," Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu remarked thanking Provincial Director of National Education Yakup Yıldız for his gracious visit. Our shared objectives are to provide our children the greatest education possible and to improve the degree of knowledge in our city even higher', he said.

Consensus was obtained at the conference to increase the current university-National Education Directorate cooperation and to extend this cooperation with innovative projects. The visit concluded with kind wishes and a memento picture.
