MODERATED BY RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU, THE "CAREER JOURNEY TALK" WAS ORGANIZED AS PART OF KUDAKAF'25.

The Northeastern Anatolia Career Fair (KUDAKAF'25) continues to unite young people with prominent representatives of various sectors. The "Career Journey Panel" that was arranged as part of the event was a source of inspiration for students, featuring pioneering figures in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

 The opening speech of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu, who moderated the panel, emphasized the significance of establishing one-on-one contact with sector professionals and encouraged students to shape their career objectives at an early age. Hacımüftüoğlu, in addition to being an academician who attracted attention with his scientific research, also served as a pioneer in the healthcare sector, setting an example for students by establishing Turkey's first "in vivo voltammetry and brain sensor laboratory."

 Ayar elucidated the extent to which Turkey has progressed in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

 Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayar, the President of the Turkish Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency, imparted his expertise in neuroendocrinology and physiology during his panel discussion. He also explained the scientific foundation of drug development processes. Ayar, who shared his experiences from domestic and international research with young people, elucidated the state of Turkey's medical and medical device industry.

 Selçuk Disclosed His Experiences on National and International Platforms

 Ahmet Selçuk, a pharmacist who serves as the Vice President of the İVEK Foundation and the DEİK Health Council, discussed his 35-year career as a freelance pharmacist, as well as his experiences on national and international platforms. Selçuk encouraged students to participate in the development of health policies by emphasizing the role of civil society organizations.

 Young People Were Told to "Discover Your Own Potential" by Türkmen

 Prof. Dr. Mutlu Türkmen, an additional prominent figure in the panel, discussed his interdisciplinary academic approach and the research he has conducted at the intersection of health and sports sciences. Türkmen, the Rector of Bayburt University, conveyed the message of "discover your own potential" to young people, underscoring the significance of quality and versatility in education.

 Dereli Developed a Pathway for Students' Career Development

 Dr. Ümit Dereli, the Secretary General of AİFD, underscored the significance of partnerships between academia and industry by sharing his managerial experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Dereli emphasized that students should also assess these areas in their professional journeys, in reference to the role of studies conducted with civil society and patient associations in sectoral development.

 Taşpolatoğlu Assessed the Pharmaceutical Sector's Growth

 Dr. Süha Taşpolatoğlu, CEO of one of Turkey's most reputable pharmaceutical companies, asserted that the pharmaceutical sector can be elevated through the application of professional expertise and a visionary outlook. Taşpolatoğlu, who has been employed at Abdi İbrahim since 2001, shared with new individuals the strategies for competing in the global market. He also described his managerial process.

 The panel served as a critical forum for students to directly ask questions of experts and to acquire guidance regarding their future careers. One of the most remarkable events of KUDAKAF'25 was this special session, which was influenced by the experiences of the participants.
