THE ACCREDITATION PERIOD OF UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS IN THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING HAS BEEN EXTENDED

Atatürk University, one of the leading educational institutions of our country with its quality education, qualified human resources and well-equipped application units, continues to be accredited by various institutions and organizations for the projects and studies carried out in line with the New CoHE Vision.

In this context, the accreditation periods of some undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Engineering of Atatürk University have been extended.

In the 2020-2021 evaluation period of the Faculty of Engineering, accreditation decisions were made for 5 engineering undergraduate programs evaluated by the Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MÜDEK) Engineering Education Programs Accreditation Board (MAK), and the programs were extended for 3 years until 30 September 2024.

Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering  and Mechanical Engineering  programs will also be awarded a 3-year EUR-ACE label. The programs are announced on the MÜDEK Web page in the list of Accredited Undergraduate Programs.

Expressing his satisfaction with the extension of the accreditation period of the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said that the studies carried out by the faculty played an active role in extending the accreditation period.

Emphasizing that many faculties, units and programs at Atatürk University are accredited by official institutions, Rector Çomaklı stated that they will continue to work with determination to increase this number.
