Prof. Dr. Kenan Peker, rector of Munzur University, paid a visit to the office of Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, rector of Atatürk University.

Professor Dr. Peker traveled to Erzurum for research and sightseeing purposes. He asserted that these and analogous gatherings are critical for establishing academic and administrative cooperation and bolstering communication between universities.

Furthermore, he stated that relations would be strengthened and it would be easier to find unique solutions to a wide range of questions and problems through the exchange of information between universities. He further stated that they would be delighted to collaborate with Atatürk University, their alma mater, on a variety of projects. While extending gratitude to Rector Çomaklı for his hospitality, Rector Peker commended the university administration on the successful completion of significant projects.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı asserted that the interchange of ideas holds significant value in fostering a shared vision and contributing to the future endeavors and progress of our nation. He further emphasized that universities can accelerate their progress by exchanging information.

"Universities are one of the most important factors that contribute to the advancement of social welfare, technological and scientific progress, and the growth of the communities in which they are situated," said Rector Çomaklı. Universities serve as catalysts for societal change and future readiness, and their operations positively influence not only their constituent institutions but also the progress of the communities in which they are situated and our nation as a whole.

Emphasizing that success depends on acting together, Rector Çomaklı said that they will be in constant communication with Munzur University on the occasion of Peker's visit.
