BEST WISHES FOR THE NEWROZ FEAST!

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı published a message in observance of the Nevruz Holiday, which signifies the arrival of spring. Rector Çomaklı incorporated the subsequent assertions into his discourse:

Nevruz is a momentous occasion that imbues spring with a jubilant essence and bestows a fresh significance on the day itself. Nevruz signifies the day of rebirth, during which the natural world comes to life, trees, flowers, and soil all blossom.

In an era dominated by wars and diseases, Nevruz is an occasion to reestablish and perpetually maintain optimism in order to shed the burdens of the cold and gloomy winter.

In addition to being celebrated with great zeal by the Turks and numerous other nations, this solstice symbolizes social memory, traditional life, oral tradition, and shared heritage. A magnificent tradition has been observed for centuries without sacrificing any of its significance despite the modification of its rituals.

One of the most essential values that binds societies together is cultural unity. With the optimism, riches, and delight of a fresh day, I commemorate Nevruz, a spring holiday adorned with these exquisite connotations.
