JANUARY SCIENTIFIC INCENTIVE CEREMONY HELD
Academics who elevate the reputation of Atatürk University through their scientific research will be honored at Scientific Incentive Ceremonies in 2024. These ceremonies are organized in accordance with the university's guiding principle of "Recognizing and valuing diligence and accomplishments."
On July 15, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı presented awards at the inaugural Scientific Incentive Ceremony of the year, which was conducted at the National Will Hall. The recipients were faculty members who submitted applications in January for the diverse research endeavors they conducted as part of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project.
Rector Çomaklı declared that recognition and encouragement of accomplishments are enduring practices at Atatürk University. He further stated that, as in prior years, all staff members who generate scientific benefits, contribute to national progress, and produce new ideas will continue to receive support in the coming year.
Universities are presently transitioning from being passive institutions to active participants by converting knowledge into value.
In regard to the scientific endeavors it has undertaken since its inception, Rector Çomaklı asserts that Atatürk University, renowned for its firmly established infrastructure, occupies a prominent position. The studies conducted by our university, which strives to maintain a leading position in projects, patents, publications, research and development, and activities that benefit society, accomplish this objective. Universities, which generate value from knowledge, are transitioning into self-sufficient institutions through this process. By expediting the process of transitioning to an autonomous university, we fulfill our internal requirements while also making a positive contribution to the progress of the nation. We extend our sincere gratitude to all the academics who have contributed to the prosperous development of our university. "I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the faculty members who have been recognized with awards for their publications, patents, projects, and companies," he said.
