DAYTAM EXPLAINED TO STUDENTS ON THEIR CAREER PATH

Atatürk University Career Planning Graduate Monitoring Research and Application Center (ATA KARMER) continues at full speed to introduce university units to students within the scope of the interviews it organizes. In this week's interview of the center, Eastern Anatolia High Technology Research and Application Center (DAYTAM) was explained.

Participating as a speaker in the conversation organized by ATA KARMER, Atatürk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken Yurtcan and DAYTAM Director Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Kılıç gave information about the center by stating that DAYTAM, which was established in 2014, is among the top three research and application centers in Turkey in terms of R&D and technology.

“DAYTAM Serves 70 Universities”

Emphasizing that they focus on solving the problems in foreign-dependent areas, Kılıç stated that a policy is being carried out to develop the center in this direction. Stating that special conditions and laboratories are needed for the development and testing of drugs on health, which are popular these days, Kılıç stated that they are trying to fill Turkey's deficit in these areas as DAYTAM.

Stating that DAYTAM serves 70 universities, Prof. Dr. Yurtcan, on the other hand, stated that samples taken from various areas were tested in the center. Yurtcan said that they will soon implement biocompatibility tests that reveal whether the newly produced drugs or medical devices have any effect on human and living life.
