VISIT FROM FORMER INTERIOR MINISTER ÂLÂ TO RECTOR HACIMÜFTÜOĞLU
Former Interior Minister, AK Party Bursa Deputy and AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Âlâ, who was in Erzurum to attend a series of programs, visited Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu at his office.
Âlâ was accompanied by Governor Mustafa Çiftçi, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Sekmen and AK Party Provincial Chairman İbrahim Küçükoğlu during the visit.
Drawing attention to the importance of the university for its region and country during the visit, Efkan Âlâ emphasized that Atatürk University contributes to the development of Turkey with its academic studies. Expressing that he closely follows the studies carried out by Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, Âlâ said that Atatürk University is the locomotive of its region with the mission it has undertaken in education and scientific fields.
Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu thanked Efkan Âlâ, who has a special place in the hearts of the people of Erzurum with his services, for his kind visit.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu, who told Efkan Âlâ about the important projects of the university, gave information about the ongoing works. Stating that they will continue to conduct research in the areas that the country needs and contribute to the development of the region as a university, Hacımüftüoğlu emphasized that the support of all stakeholders of the city is very important in this journey and thanked Âlâ for his support and kind visit.
