Atatürk University, which continues its education and training activities with distance education method due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), which has influenced the whole world, completed its final exams online.

In the formal education final exams held between 1-14 June 2020, a total of 12 million pages were displayed, while 1 million 408 thousand sessions were held. Students who participated in the final exams from 63 different countries participated in their exams by connecting most from their mobile devices.

Atatürk University, which has been paused due to the pandemic period and then decided to be carried out through distance education, continues the courses within the scope of formal education programs, and has completed its final exams without any problems online.

Rector Çomaklı stated that they applied the distance education model, which was passed with the recommendation decision of the Higher Education Council (YÖK), “When we observed the scientific statistics and digital data, we observed that our students attended online courses and were interested in the course materials. We successfully completed the final exams at the end of the semester with the work of our expert team. ”

Rector Çomaklı stated that they took a student-centered approach in the pandemic process, as in face-to-face education, and stated that no students were victims during this service. Emphasizing that the students who have been interrupted for any reason during the exam, they continue their exams from where they left off. He said that thanks to the Instructional Management System, exam models suitable for the nature of the course were easily implemented.
