Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor Adem Aydemir, Erzurum Justice Commission President Osman Nuri Nayman, Kafkas University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, AK Party Central Disciplinary Board Member Muhammet Ali Yılmaz, AK Party Central Executive Board Member Fevzi Polat, AK Party Erzurum Provincial Head İbrahim Küçükoğlu, AK Party Yakutiye District Head Recep Aydın, AK Party Palandöken District Head Haktan Ömeroğlu, AK Party Aziziye District Head Hüseyin Güler, Turkish Curling Federation President Prof Dr. Kenan Şebin and Erzurum City Council Head Hüseyin Tanfer and city council members paid a congratulatory visit to Atatürk University Rector prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu.

During the visit, the guests underscored the significance of Atatürk University for Erzurum and the region and conveyed their confidence that Rector Hacımüftüoğlu will engage in successful work during his new term. The guests, who reaffirmed their conviction that this process will result in an increase in initiatives that will contribute to regional development and the academic success of the university, wished the new academic year to be auspicious.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Hacımüftüoğlu expressed his satisfaction with these significant visits and made the following statements: "Our university continues to function as a substantial education and research center, not only for Erzurum but also for the entire region and our country." We are committed to fostering the socio-economic development of our region during our tenure in office, in addition to enhancing academic achievements through our contributions to science and education. Among our top priorities in this regard are the development of initiatives, the strengthening of partnerships with local governments, non-governmental organizations, and other universities, and the transformation of Erzurum into a science and innovation hub.

Rector Hacımüftüoğlu has declared that all actions will be taken in the best interest of the nation. He stated, "We are committed to enhancing the quality of our education with the resources we have acquired in the past and to elevating our university to a more prestigious position in the international community in the new era." We will expedite our research and development endeavors and maintain our commitment to offering our students a contemporary and well-equipped education.
