Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı was paid a visit by 1st Class Police Chief Mehmet Özdemir, the Deputy Director of the Erzurum Police Vocational Training Center.

Çomaklı conveyed his contentment with the visit and provided details pertaining to Atatürk University. Rector Çomaklı declared that inter-institutional collaborations would persist, emphasizing that both establishments have consistently shared a common goal throughout history.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya attended the Police Academy Erzurum POMEM 29th Term Graduation Ceremony over the weekend. Rector Çomaklı extended his felicitations to Özdemir and stated, "I am delighted to be present at the commencement ceremonies honoring our valiant police officers, who constitute a critical component of the nation's security. Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation for your astuteness and assistance in effectively instructing our officers."

POMEM Director Mehmet Özdemir emphasized his delight in serving this ancient city, stating that he concluded his first year of service in Erzurum, the city that was regarded favorably by the eastern region, and now feels like a native of the city.

Özdemir expressed his sincerity regarding the measures that must be undertaken to facilitate POMEM Erzurum students' access to the resources and stature of Atatürk University. He further expressed gratitude to Rector Çomaklı for his gracious hospitality.
