INCENTIVE AWARD FOR PROF. DR. ÇADIRCI FROM TÜBİTAK

"Science, Private, Service and Incentive Awards" given by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) every year found their owners in a ceremony held at the National Bestepe Congress and Culture Center under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the ceremony, Ataturk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Pharmacology Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Elif Çadırcı was awarded the 2020 TÜBİTAK Incentive Award in the Health Sciences category. Çadırcı received his award from President Erdogan.

"Every Civilization Produces Its Own Value"

At the award ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that they expressed their appreciation to 18 scientists at TÜBİTAK awards and 43 scientists at TÜBA awards this year. President Erdoğan congratulated the scientists who were awarded the prize and expressed his belief that the achievements of these scientists will encourage other scientists. President Erdogan: "Scientists have to, express my gratitude for the contribution they make to Turkey. Turkey, the last 18 years revealed that success owes something to come out with the knowledge and wisdom of civilization. Turkey's presence in the world of science, each new study reveals that first the ancient next to it expresses the power of our civilization. Do not forget; every civilization produces its own technology, each technology produces its own culture and value. "We are trying to do our part, as well as every scientist who continues to explore, research and produce."

After the speeches, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented the award-winning scientists with their awards and taken photos with them.

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı said: “The fact that this ceremony takes place under the auspices of our President is an indication of the importance given to science and scientists. Our country has entered a process that is gaining momentum in the academic field. As Atatürk University, we also contribute to this rise with our work we carry out within the framework of the vision of New CHE. Articles written on this occasion are published in important magazines, and many projects we carry out are deemed worthy of awards. The last of these is that Professor of Medicine, Department of Medical Pharmacology. Elif Çadırcı received incentive award by TUBITAK. I congratulate her wholeheartedly and congratulate her on her success. "
