PROF. DR. HÜSEYIN BAYDEMIR WAS AWARDED A MEDAL AND HONORARY PROFESSORSHIP IN UZBEKISTAN
In Uzbekistan, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Baydemir, the Director of the Institute of Turkic Studies and a faculty member of the Department of Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures at the Faculty of Letters at Atatürk University, was awarded a science medal and an honorary professorship title.
The Senate of the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute has awarded Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Baydemir the "Muhammed Eminhoca Resident Medal" as a science award for his work on Uzbek Turkish, Uzbek Literature, and Uzbek Culture over the past 30 years, as well as for his efforts to introduce Uzbekistan to Turkey and the world. Baydemir has also been granted an honorary professorship in recognition of his productive contributions to the fields of culture, art, science, and education, as well as his efforts to foster international relations.
Prof. Dr. Baydemir expressed his satisfaction with the announcement of Atatürk University's existence in Uzbekistan and expressed his intention to persist in his endeavours.
Rector Hacımüftüoğlu underscored the significance of Atatürk University academics demonstrating their capabilities in the international arena and accurately representing the institution. He also underscored the university's ongoing efforts to establish scientific partnerships and collaborations with all universities worldwide.
The medal and honorary professorship awarded to Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Baydemir, who serves as a liaison between Turkey and Uzbekistan in the areas of culture, art, science, and education, are of great value to Atatürk University, according to Rector Hacımüftüoğlu. He also expressed his gratitude for Baydemir's dedicated efforts and the titles given to him.
