EU - HORIZON EUROPE TRAINING PROVIDED TO ACADEMICS BY PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
The Project Development and Coordination Office, which continues its efforts to internationalize Atatürk University and to benefit from scientific support and grants, provided information about the new Horizon European Framework Program to potential participants who are new to Framework Programs or have little experience in the program.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ayşe Bayrakçeken Yurtcan and Project Development Office and many academicians attended the training in the Cultural Center Blue Hall. Prof. Dr. Selda Örs gave information about the European Union research and innovation program and projects. Specific to the Horizon Europe Programme, information was shared about the work programs published in the sub-fields of the program, open calls, project application drafts and how to be involved in R&D and innovation collaborations to be formed within the scope of this program.
In the training attended by approximately 100 academicians from Atatürk University, Selda Örs said that the European Union funds will be introduced at Atatürk University with periodic trainings and information days by the Project Coordination Office, and theoretical and practical support will continue to be provided for interested academicians.
Stating that with the European Union 9th Framework Program, Horizon Europe, it is aimed to support science and innovation activities with a budget of 95.5 billion Euros between 2021-2027. Örs also stated that there are constant calls in areas, clusters and missions in the components under the Horizon Europe components.
