HAPPY RAMADAN FEAST
A greeting was issued by Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the rector of Atatürk University, in observance of the Ramadan Feast. Rector Çomaklı incorporated the subsequent assertions into his discourse:
In the Muslim world, the significance of Ramadan is comparable to eagerly anticipating the advent of a distinguished guest.
This auspicious month, which we have now arrived at following months of preparations and daily consumption of lamps, is an opportunity to take a moment out of our hectic lives to observe our surroundings and attend to our bodies. Ramadan presents an occasion to empathize with those who are not present, to distribute a portion of the bounties bestowed upon us to those who are in need, to exercise patience, to come to terms with, and to experience the splendor of generosity.
We extend the same warm greetings for the holiday season, which we have been fortunate to encounter after a month of endeavoring to rekindle through these exquisite meanings.
Ramadan benevolence be upon us and the Islamic world as a whole.
