The Pilot Bread Factory, which is associated with the Food and Livestock Application and Research Center Directorate of Atatürk University, produces around 12,000 rolls of bread per day. During the holy month of Ramadan, the students of the Faculty of Agriculture bake around one thousand pide breads, which are available for purchase at the Pilot Bread Factory and the sales office in the lodging area from 13:00 to 17:30.
Students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience while the bread factory affiliated with the Food and Livestock Application and Research Center (GUHAM) produces and introduces the products to the public. This initiative was carried out as part of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which was initiated by Atatürk University to determine the road map for the university's future and redesign its current state. It serves a functional purpose by guaranteeing their access to education.
