Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı published a message for the blessed Regaip Kandili. Rector Çomaklı stated the following in his message:

Laylat al-raghaib is an occasion for remission and forgiveness. It is good news, greetings, inclination. It is to turn one's back on the darkness and illuminate his path with the light inside it. It is a desire, it is a hope. It is a happy welcome at the end of a wait.

Laylat al-raghaib, which we have at the beginning of the three months, is a stop of the spiritual path that we head towards with the hope of making our darkness to light, our path to light, and our sins to forgiveness.

I congratulate our blessed Laylat al-raghaib by thanking the Almighty God who brought us to these days, and wish it is a means of goodness on behalf of the whole Islamic world. "
