RECTOR ÇOMAKLI ATTENDED 29 OCTOBER REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı attended the events organized on the occasion of the 29 October Republic Day Celebration Ceremony.

On the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, Erzurum hosted various events. All our martyrs and veterans were commemorated with respect, mercy and gratitude, with the ceremony that started with the laying of a wreath on the Atatürk bust by the pool, a moment of silence and the national anthem.

Rector Çomaklı, who attended the ceremony of accepting the congratulations of Governor Okay Memiş from the civil, administrative, military and judicial authorities of the city at the governor's office, took part in the celebration ceremony that wiould continue on the hospitals street.

The program, which started after the speeches on the meaning of the day, continued with the mehteran and folk dance performances from various regions and a parade.

Rector Çomaklı, who attended the Republic Day Reception at the end of the day, wished the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey to bring blessings to our country.

A concert was presented by Atatürk University Turkish Music State Conservatory at the Republic Day Reception. from the deparment of the Turkish Music State Conservatory Assoc. Dr. İsmail Hakkı Gerçek gave the audience a pleasant time with his Turkish Folk and Turkish Classical Music works.
