RECTOR ÇOMAKLI ATTENDED 29 OCTOBER REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who participated in the events held throughout the province on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Republic with enthusiasm.
Erzurum hosted various events on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of Turkey. The ceremony started with the presentation of wreaths to the Atatürk bust at Havuzbaşı, and with the reading of the Respect Pause and the National Anthem, all our martyrs and veterans were remembered with respect, mercy and gratitude.
Rector Çomaklı, who took part in the ceremony of Governor Mustafa Çiftçi's acceptance of congratulations from the city's civil, administrative, military and judicial officials at the Governor's Office, also participated in the celebration ceremony that continued on Hastaneler Street and attracted great attention of Erzurum people.
The program, which started after the speeches on the meaning of the day, continued with mehteran, folk dances and a parade.
