RECTOR ÇOMAKLI IS IN ADIYAMAN...
Atatürk University, which rapidly delivered its aid to the region after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, which occurred consecutively and had devastating effects in 11 provinces in total, continues to support the people of the region socio-psychologically as well as physical aid.
Visiting Adıyaman, which is among the provinces that were significantly affected by earthquakes, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı made examinations in the city center where the earthquake had a devastating effect and conveyed that they are always with the people of the region.
Rector Çomaklı and his team, who visited the tent cities provided for the shelter needs of earthquake victims, came together with the earthquake victims and conveyed their wishes on behalf of Atatürk University. Rector Çomaklı talked with the earthquake victims for a while, emphasizing that the whole country will overcome this disaster with the unity of heart and hands, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured citizens.

After the visit to the tent city, Rector Çomaklı went to Adıyaman University, which was matched to Atatürk University for educational support in the 2022-2023 Spring Semester by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). He met with rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Turgut.
Rector Çomaklı and Rector Turgut, who consulted about the students who will receive face-to-face and online education in the spring semester, attended the meeting held within this scope.
Rector Çomaklı mentioned that both universities are in cooperation so that students can return to their normal lives and continue their education from where they left off. He stated that Atatürk University stands by Adıyaman University and the people of Adıyaman in every subject, especially education and training.
Rector Prof. Dr. Rector Çomaklı, who conveyed his condolences and wishes to Turgut, said that these disastrous days will be overcome in unity and solidarity as a country and nation.
