RECTOR ÇOMAKLI MET WITH MINISTER SELÇUK VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE.

Rector of Atatürk University, Prof. Ömer Çomaklı attended the meeting, chaired by the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, with the participation of the rectors of the universities that have research hospitals within.
During the meeting held via video conference method, the work of the hospitals in the fight against coronavirus was evaluated. In the meeting, where information was given about the activities carried out and planned to be performed during the pandemic period; Issues such as the Health Practice Notification (SUT) prices, the financial status of hospitals, drug cuts, global budget practices and the economic status of the Dentistry Faculties were consulted.

“We will support our hospitals more in the coronavirus process”

Stating that many improvements were made within the scope of new coronavirus measures with the Health Practice notification (SUT), Minister Selçuk made various evaluations regarding the new arrangement at the meeting held with the video conference method. Selçuk: “In this process, we included the care services that provide high cost for preventive and contamination care for professionals who provide healthcare services for each of our inpatients. We will also pay 660 lira per day to our serving hospitals for each patient diagnosed with new coronavirus. Thus, we will have given special support to our hospitals for the treatment of our patients diagnosed with coronavirus.”

“We Put The Medicine Used In Coronavirus Treatment In The Reimbursement List”

Minister Selçuk said, “We have also doubled the intensive care treatment fees that we covered by placing intensive care services on the reimbursement list. We also included the drug used in the treatment of coronavirus in our intensive care conditions to our reimbursement list ”.
