MONITORING AND EVALUATION MEETINGS STARTED UNDER THE PRESIDENCY OF RECTOR ÇOMAKLI
Within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which was implemented to determine the vision of Atatürk University, Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings started with the participation of unit managers and academicians.
At the Monitoring and Evaluation Meetings initiated under the presidency of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, faculty deans and school principals began to present the reports they prepared on the work done in their units.
The program began this morning and will last for 16 days. Vice-Rectors, faculty and vocational school administrations, and faculty members will all be involved. The Faculty of Architecture and Design followed the Faculty of Tourism in the afternoon session of meetings, which had initially begun with them.
Making a general evaluation of the program, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı stated that they carried out a 16-day Cultural Transformation Studies Program with Unit Managers last year with the participation of all unit managers and that they had positive results and said that now, meetings were held regarding the studies to be done and the stage of the targets to be achieved in the light of the indicators determined by YÖK.

Rector Çomaklı: “We will meet with our deans and principals for 16 days to receive feedback on the work done in faculties and vocational schools, and observe the progress towards our roadmap, which we have determined, and identify the successful areas and areas that need improvement in line with the data. Our vision of the New Generation University, a gigantic organization in which more than a thousand sub-projects are carried out simultaneously, is in an eye-opening position. Atatürk University, which is the gateway of the East to the West and the West to the East, exhibits a performance targeting the top 500 among world universities and entering this ranking in many fields. All of our members have important duties to carry this even higher. I believe that our units' success rate will increase due to the monitoring and evaluation meetings held.”
