REKTÖR ÇOMAKLI’DAN 10 KASIM ATATÜRK’Ü ANMA GÜNÜ MESAJI
Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı released a message on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's death. Rector Çomaklı included the following statements in his message:
Some days are not like other days. It is heavy, gloomy, sad, mournful. 10 November is such a day. Today is the day when the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who left us days and holidays that we will celebrate with enthusiasm, with his revolutions, his farsightedness, his vision beyond his time, his attitude that puts children, young people and women forward on the stage of civilisation, his effort to bring education to the farthest point of the homeland by saying that independence is in the skies, and who knows the homeland as dear to his life, left us.
As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we are peaceful with the most immortal relic of our ancestor, happy to serve our homeland in line with the principles he determined, and proud to live on the world stage by glorifying the Turkish name in art and sports on the path of strong, modern, science and science.
We commemorate our ancestor with gratitude and mercy without forgetting his words ‘My humble body will one day be dust, but the Republic of Turkey will remain forever’.
