Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı paid a congratulatory visit to 1st Class Police Chief Levent Tuncer, who was appointed as the Erzurum Provincial Police Department from the Public Security Department with the Police Chiefs' Decree published in the Official Gazette.

Stating that Atatürk University is in constant communication with the Provincial Police Department, Rector Çomaklı said that the joint works with the Police Department will continue to ensure the security of Erzurum, which has an ancient culture and a thousand-year history, and to protect the peaceful environment.

Expressing that he was pleased with Çomaklı's visit, Provincial Director Tuncer emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and stated that acting jointly against the developing events would add strength to the unity.
