Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı and his administration continue their traditional faculty visits. In this context, Rector Çomaklı and his team came together with the management and academicians of Sports Sciences and Kazım Karabekir Faculty of Education.

Speaking during the visits, Rector Prof. Dr. Çomaklı stated that these distinguished faculties, which serve the higher education of the country, have reached an advanced level in human training as well as providing education and mentioned the reason for being a New Generation University.

Rector Çomaklı stated that the universities, which have experienced the industrial and information revolutions that Europe has realised in many years as accelerated, are looking for a way out: "Now, the responsibilities of universities towards society have reached important dimensions. The rapid change in science and technology has been important here. The boundaries between our duties of education, research and contribution to society have gradually disappeared. At this stage, Atatürk University has developed a great commodity system and has set an example for Turkish higher education."

After his speech, Rector Çomaklı listened to the demands and suggestions of academic and administrative staff.
