The Rector of Atatürk University, Professor Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, conducted a visit to Hınıs Vocational School where he engaged in discussions with the school's administration and academic staff.

Since assuming office, Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı has initiated a search for shared knowledge that aligns with the culture of consultation. This effort has been further strengthened through the implementation of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project. As part of this ongoing endeavor, Çomaklı continues to conduct visits to various units within the institution.

The vocational school in question had a prominent role in the advancement and progress of the district

In the present scenario, Rector Çomaklı conducted a visit to Hınıs Vocational School whereby he conducted thorough inspections of various areas inside the school premises, including classrooms, labs, and the cafeteria. Accompanying him on this tour was the Director of the Vocational School, Assoc. Dr. Harun Güney. Çomaklı obtained information regarding the completed tasks from Harun Güney. Çomaklı made the following remarks: "The presence of the vocational school holds significant significance for Hınıs and its geographical context. The Hınıs Vocational School, with its substantial student population, diverse academic offerings, and the positive impact it has on its surroundings, takes pride in commemorating its 25th anniversary since its establishment. Our educational institution, which provides training to aspiring professionals rather than intermediate-level employees, has made significant contributions to the local community both in terms of economic growth and advancement in several academic disciplines."

According to Rector Çomaklı, Hınıs Vocational School has witnessed the success of its student-oriented programs, particularly in departments such as Child Care and Youth Services, Pharmacy Services, Medical Services and Techniques, and Veterinary Departments, as evidenced by the high demand and enrollment rates. He expressed a desire for the upcoming academic period to be prosperous.

Graduates are readily presented with job opportunities.
