RECTOR ÇOMAKLI MET WITH STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES AT IFTAR DINNER

Continuing to share the iftar table with his guests on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the sultan of eleven months, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı met with student representatives.

Iftar dinner was given at Social Facilities Guesthouse 2 on the university campus;  In addition to Ataturk University Rector Prof. Dr.Ömer Çomaklı, Fethiye Chief Public Prosecutor Ünal Bingül and many student representatives attended as guests with the university's senior management.

Rector Çomaklı, who met with student representatives who made an effort to help students studying at their faculties get to know the city, adapt better to their environment and acquire a social environment, thanked his guests for their presence.

Rector Çomaklı, chatting with his guests before the fast-breaking hour and listening to their views and wishes, broke the fast with the recitation of the Holy Quran.

Rector Çomaklı, who made a speech after the fast-breaking dinner, stated that he was happy to share the fruitful iftar table in the middle of Ramadan with student representatives working for university students.

“You Should Be Enlightened With a National Spirit, You Should Know Where You Come From and Where You Are Going”

Rector Çomaklı reminded that as a university, they continue their efforts to eliminate the worries about the future and the next generations and to raise faithful Turkish youth; “Hopefully for the consent of the supreme creator in our work; We are trying to reach the point we aim with the motto that if there is faith, there is possibility and with your prayers.”

Rector Çomaklı said, “The future of a nation and its struggle for existence determines the national-spiritual line and direction in the life journey of that nation's youth” and continued his speech as follows: “You must be enlightened with a national spirit, you must know where you come from and where you are going. Do not forget that in this period when the countries of the world seem friendly and are struggling with each other, the way to protect your homeland is possible by maintaining your faith.

“We Need Your Effort, Excitement and Strong Faith”

“Our country has made a very serious progress in the last 20 years. Of course, there have always been, and will continue to exist, those who could not digest our success and wanted to stop our unity and progress by attacking us from the inside and outside. You must be vigilant against all this. Keep your ranks tight, hold tight to the direction rope. We need your zeal, enthusiasm and strong faith. I have full faith that you will experience this, I trust you. I would like to thank you again on behalf of our university for accepting our invitation and wish you success in your educational journey, hoping that you will not spare your prayers on this path we strive for."

The iftar program ended with the guests chatting with Rector Çomaklı.
