RECTOR ÇOMAKLI CONTINUES HIS NEGOTIATIONS FOR COMMON SENSE

Prof.Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the president of Atatürk University, continues to visit associations, foundations and NGOs at the weekends in order to make a contribution to social, economical, agricultural, industrial, cultural and many others.
The president Çomaklı paid a visit to Erzurum Branch of  IHH (the foundation for human rights and freedoms and humanitarian relief) this weekend and was hosted by Cumhur Hakkı Çankaya, the head of Erzurum Branch.
Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the president of Atatürk University, pointed out that " They not only accomplish and realize the completed projects, but also create new projects with the aim of including the whole university into the status of new generation university and finished his speech by adding the following statements: " Universities are not only spiritless structures that offer education. They are also education institutions with dynamic structure. Universities are supposed to adopt a lifelong education and also integrate the public in education process through continuing education center. Universities are institutions that are in touch with social life in addition to positive sciences. Therefore, they are due to have concerns about tragedies all around the world and express negative situations observed in all platforms. In this context, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is a silver lining for oppressed Muslims as a result of the mission it undertakes. I would like to express my gratitude to the Head Cumhur Hakkı Çankaya and his administration and all people doing their best to people who go through hard times, come to grief, are oppressed, starve and are homeless and victims of natural disasters or wars regardless of their religion, language, ethnicity and sect."
Cumhur Hakkı Çankaya, the head of Erzurum Branch of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, extended his thanks to Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, the President of Atatürk University, for his visit and  stated that " Tje contributions of these consultation meetings performed with associations, foundations and non-governmental organizations to our country and humanity in a common sense give us hope. I would like to congratulate on President Çomaklı who depends on a pluralistic mind, appreciates our ideas and  state that they will create projects in order to cooperate for his projects and I hope his success will continue.
